ISRC Board of Director Members

Our Board of Director Members (BoD) are passionate, non-paid volunteers (eventually, these will become yearly stipend positions) who generously contribute their time, expertise, and specialized know-how to uphold ISRC's mission and vision. As stewards of our organization, they play a pivotal role in guiding strategic initiatives, supporting research development, and contributing to any endeavors deemed necessary by the board to achieve our goals.

We are forming our board and seeking individuals eager to make a difference (more information about what we desire). We would love to hear from you if you have experience, skills, or insights that align with our mission!​

Key Responsibilities of the ISRC Board

  1. Strategic Planning and Oversight:

    • Develop, review, and approve project plans to ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives.

    • Set measurable goals and establish benchmarks for success.

  2. Resource Allocation:

    • Guide budget planning and resource distribution to support project execution.

    • Assist in securing funding through networking, sponsorships, or grant opportunities.

  3. Expert Contributions:

    • Leverage individual board members’ specialized skills and knowledge to enhance project quality.

    • Offer mentorship and support to project teams and researchers,

  4. Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Regularly assess the progress and impact of ongoing projects.

    • Identify potential challenges and recommend solutions to ensure project success.

  5. Advocacy and Outreach:

    • Promote projects within professional networks and the broader community to enhance visibility and engagement.

    • Act as ambassadors for the organization by representing its mission in public forums and partnerships.
